Adopting a BestFriends Rescue dog
If you find a dog that you are interested in, please click on the adoption application tab and fill it out and submit. Once your application has been approved you will receive a call and we can schedule a meet and greet. Meet and greet's are by appointments only! A home check will be conducted at this time to ensure the safety of the dog. Once the home check has been completed, you can opt to keep the dog that day or wait and come to pick up the dog from my home/or foster home on a different day. An adoption fee is to be paid in cash or check prior to receiving the dog. Adoption fees range depending on the dog's medical expense, housing expense, etc. An adoption fee will usually go for $150 and up. All courtesy posted ads for other rescues should be taken up with the specific rescue or person listed. If for any reason you can no longer care for your companion, it is required that your adopted BFR dog be returned to us so that we may find another loving home for them.
Relinquishing your pet!

At BestFriends Rescue we require you to pay a relinquishing fee to help cover the expensive costs for caring for your animal until placed in a forever loving home as we are a no kill private rescue.
** We are now changing our policy. BestFriends Rescue Of Moreno Valley, will only accept dogs that are spayed/neutered and up to date on shots! We also require a $200 donation to house and feed your dog until placed in a home. The donation will also help to pay for any additional medical fees, etc.
